The Suncoast Annual Boatshow

It is always a good day when there is an opportunity to get near the water and check out the boats. What is nice is that you don't have to be in the market to buy. Just spending a little time walking the docks and seeing all the different boats for sale makes for a great day.

The weather today was sunny and close to 90 under blue skies. There were a lot of boats to look at both new and used. The big attraction was the 84' all stainless steel houseboat with a 40' beam. The line was long to come aboard and along with the twelve-million dollar price tag, we decided to move to boats more in-tune with our budget.

Be sure to check out the Suncoast Boatshow website for dates and tickets. If you want to save a little on the ticket prices, be sure to sign up. In the past, there has always been an email that comes out closer to the event with a discount code :)

We ended our day with a walk over to the Marina Jack restaurant for a late lunch before heading out. There are many choices when it comes to dining here. From the causal outdoor waterfront menu to the up-scale restaurant up-stairs.If you haven't tried a sunset dining experience, be sure to reserve a spot on the Marina Jack II, it should be on your to-do list.
